How do I join the Summer Course/Pilot Study?

THC Consult DES Approved Summer Courses Pilot Study 2024 is no longer available for booking but we will reopen once dates have been selected for the next cohort.

Booking Costs €50.

Availability is limited.

How many participants on each course?

There will be a strict cut-off of 20 participants on any one week.

How much is the Course?

Our Summer Course Pilot costs €50 for enrolment

How is the Course Assessed?

Each module has:

  • 1 discussion forum which you must make contributions
  • Completion of EQ Workbook
  • Commencement of Journaling
  • Immunity to Change (ITC) Mapping completed in dyads
  • Pre and Post Course Questionnaire
  • As per DES rules 2022, multiple choice quizzes are no longer accepted as end of module tasks.
  • At the end of the course there is also a short written task by way of feedback
How long is the Summer Course?

Summer Course / Pilot spans 1 week (Monday to Friday)

Group 1:  1-5th July, 2024

Group 2:  -2th July, 2024

Can I finish the course quicker than the course dates?

This particular pilot will adhere strictly to the Mon-Fri format (9.30-11am / 11.30-2pm) as per above.

Do I get EPV Days?

Yes, participation entitles you to EPV days as per the DES regulations in relation to same.

1 course – 3 EPV Days

2 Courses – 4 EPV Days

Once you successfully complete your course, your Professional Tutor will issue you with an EPV Certificate.

According to DES Rules, participants must complete one course at a time as exact dates of course completion will be noted on certificates and attendance recorded officially through roll call for provision to the DES.

What technology do I need?

Courses are hosted in a virtual learning system that is easy to navigate and user-friendly.

All you need is a reliable broadband connection and PC or laptop.

Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are the optimum browsers.

Will I get a certificate of completion?

Our Pilot Study – Summer Courses has been approved by the Department of Education therefore once teachers complete the course and meet all the requirements, they will be provided with an EPV Certificate.

Please note that it is your responsibility to save, download or print your EPV certificate.

As per DES rules. we are not permitted to create copies.

Will I get support if required?

Your learning experience is very important to THC CONSULT, meaning your course Tutor will be on hand to provide support to our Summer Course participants.

We will provide technical support throughout the duration of the course, should it be required.

Can I change my course dates?

Once chosen, you will be unable to change dates.

How long will I have access to the content?

Although your course must be completed within your selected dates, you will be able to access the course content until the end of 2024.

What is your refund policy?

Our refund policy lasts 14 days. If fourteen days have elapsed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

Participants who access the course, during that fourteen day period will not be granted a refund. 

Participants wishing to withdraw from a course after accessing the content will not be granted a refund.

No refund will be made to participants who fail to complete a course.

To make an application to request a refund please contact us by emailing: teresa@thcconsult.ie,  using “Refund” in the subject line. To complete your refund, we require an email receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your request is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your refund request. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within one week (5 working days).

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first double check your bank account. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us by using the contact form on our website using “Refund” in the subject line.
